Pours a clear golden amber with abundant foam in the Maredsous goblet. Mild beery aroma with some straw and cereal. Taste is rather sweet but enlivened by the tangy finish. Flavors of honey, though mild, and malt. No detectable hop notes, but there is just a little green and leafy aftertaste. Somehow this is much better than the average Blonde Ale even with the usual sweet and malty flavors. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 3/13/25.
