16oz can from Boise Co-op. Hazy yellow pour, big, billowing foamy head. Fruity, tropical aroma, melon, peach. Taste leans more on the tropical flavors, melon, mango, with mild stone fruit notes throughout .

this obliterates the normal version, not even close, wow, so pungent and delicious, juicy and easy for a hazy, loaded with fresh crosby grown amarillo, and its a treat, a totally different side of this varietal which i have generally been lukewarm on, but this beer is a triumph, and wet hop season is truly upon us, what a time to be a beer drinker! i am chasing down all i ca this year, and this is way up there for me in the early going, draft at bittercreek, a little muted and rather dense but also real pale and frothy headed, almost creamy looking, not messy but sturdy, and epic aroma of overripe white peach, botanical gin, sweet mango flesh, and pineapple hard candy, truly fabulous, its freshness is wonderful, obviously oily and very saturated, lots of grain support and off dry to me, very robust and distinctive, light spiciness but quite a lot different than amarillo often is in pellet form. the flavor is true to the nose, bitterness is almost nonexistent even as it warms, this is all about the fresh hop infusion, way fruity, peach again, papaya, ripe melon, but also woodsy notes and some serious oomph, so fresh, very intense in a good way, a little candied concentrated burst to it in the middle at the climax, and it runs long with a little malt sweetness, nice balance and flow to this, and not permanent on the palate or anything despite its robustness, love the peachy pop it has, and really almost surprised by how good this is, considering how underwhelming the original beer was when i had it, and how i dont always love what amarillo does, but this is a real winner, stoked to have encountered this in the wild. lots of body, grain starch, protein, but it feels soft and inviting too, really great beer!
