This reserve offering was brewed for the 16th anniversary of the Brewworks (2014) and then aged in Four Roses barrels. It was tapped for Lehigh Valley Beer Week 2015.
Nice brown color with practically no head. The bourbon notes come through on the nose. The bourbon is certainly present in the flavor profile. There is a decent maltiness as well but the body is thinner than expected and too thin to hold up to the bourbon. The finish becomes a tad cidery and the alcohol esters poke through more than they should.
