A - Pours a deep garnet amber color with a massively thick cream colored dense layer of foam. Extremely sticky on the sides of the glass.
S - Some roasted caramel, dried fruit, a little vinous, but mostly musty earthiness off the nose.
T - Nutty, caramel, earthy, some caramel malt, vinous, a delicate trace of chocolate, and some light oxidation character. Bitterness is very low. The 8% alcohol is completely hidden in this beer.
M - Chewy and full bodied.
O - Pretty true to style and nicely done, but not my gig.

Pours a muddy brownish copper with a finger of head. The nose is bready and earthy. The flavor follows the nose, the body is solid for the style and the mouthfeel is modestly sticky.
