Purchased at Bound Beverage, Warrington, PA in April 2022. Didn’t notice until I purchased it that it was brewed in November 2021 so I’m not sure if this will affect the taste.
Pours a deep golden brown color, semi-opaque but not as hazy as I expected from a beer advertised as a hazy, milkshake style IPA. An aggressive head on the initial pour but dies off to a light skim.
A very malty, almost caramel like aroma. Not very IPAish smelling at all.
A decent taste but I think the 6 months aging has affected the taste somehow. A rather sweet beer but lacks any citrus, piney taste that is reminiscent of a traditional IPA. The taste has hints of vanilla and burnt sugars.
Medium consistently that leaves a decent coating in the mouth after each sip.
Overall, I’m torn about this brew. It is not a bad beer by any means but I’m not sure I’m tasting what the brewer intended due to the age. I’ll have no problem drinking the remaining beers in the 4pk but I think I’d like to try a fresher version to see the difference. Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
