This beer was being poured at the 2nd annual Bourbon Fest at the Allentown Brew Works. The sample we got was quite generous. It poured out as a murky brownish gold color. The head was quite active and went up over the rim of my glass. The smell of the beer was a little funky from the additional wild yeast that had been added to this brew. The other aromas were hoppy and sweet too. The taste of the beer had some light sweet bourbon notes up front and as it settled it started to give off the sour hoppy notes in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel wasnt bad. Had a good body to it and was able to maintain a good drinkability. Overall this brew was interesting. I like the regular Hop'solutely more but I was glad I got to try this one for sure.
