The latest intriguing form in our ever-evolving hazy Triple IPA series from Fegley’s Brew Works. Clocking in at 11.5% ABV, this bold brew features a smooth malt backbone and a rotating cast of hops, with this version dry-hopped generously with Citra. Expect bright bursts of grapefruit, ripe mango, and zesty citrus peel that keep your palate guessing with every sip. Like its namesake, Shapeshifter is constantly transforming—always hazy, always intense, and never quite the same twice.

Poured into a chalice: color is straw, slight haze, head is brighter white with fine to small bubbles; head presents 1/4 inch thick and dissipates to thin top and lots of lacing on glass sides.
Smell is pithy citrus with grapefruit rind, mixed subtle tropicals, light biscuit and base malt, some candied sweetness.
Taste is more pith with grapefruit forward notes, mixed citrus, light malt and biscuit, candied lemonhead like notes.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness.
Overall a bigger and more bitter brew that serves the line of Fegley’s IPAs well

Canned on: ???? Batch #3045-SS
A - Hazy light golden orange
S - Citrus dominates the nose with just a hint of sweet malt buried far underneath.
T - Grapefruit and grapefruit rind dominates but there is a little bit of mango in this one. The malt base lays pretty low and ends on the resiny citrus bittersweetness on the backside.
M - Big medium body with some carbonated pricklies on the tongue.
O - I wasn't a fan at first because I really like the original recipe but this one is really starting to "grow" on my palate.
