2nd Feb 2012 found me in one of my local pubs (The Cock Hotel, Wellington): four different Real Ales were consumed by my good self, this being the second pint of the session.
Hand pulled into a UK pint sleeve: light gold in colour, well formed white crown of tight bubbles sat on top.
The smell was somewhat sulphurous and reminded me of a dirty farmyard with a truckload of hops sat in the middle.
The taste was better, thank goodness, hops and yeast frontage but with enough malts in the brew to stop it being really bitter. A little bland and uninteresting in my opinion, I didn’t have another.
