Growler from ABV.
A hazy dark reddish brown with a dense, light brown head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks great. The nose is a delightful blend of toasted wheat bread, a little buckwheat honey, bananas, clove and minty and earthy hops. The bread character is dry and crusty, complemented by the banana sweetness. The palate opens richer and fuller than a four point something ABV beer should, creamy and crisp with a blend of whole wheat toast, honey, a little caramel, a firming hop character, and of course, that delicious yeast character. Clove and banana are present, in moderate and delicious amounts. The mouthfeel is excellent - bready and rich but light and refreshing. Excellent.
