Mostly cloudy yellow pour with a big white sudsy head, trace lacing. Aromas are summery and bright: big orange and lemon with banana, wheat, and floral hops, nice. In the taste the wheat is big, but it almost has a bloated banana and grain leading more, with citrus and floral hops supporting. Doesn’t have a rising brightness or quenching finish that the style is known for, more turbid in the wheat delivery, plenty of hops poke through

16oz can from Johns. Cloudy golden pour, white fluffy head stays out. Sweet aroma, banana, bubblegum, all the right notes. Full weizen flavors, yeasty, clove, banana, bready. Mild savory finish. Creamy feel.

Beautiful golden color. Has a banana character to the aroma like a traditional hefe. Wow, yum! This is my favorite style of beer. Flavor profile of Franziskaner Hefeweizen, which is one of my favorites. Almost an exact match, wow! Love the banana character in the flavor and in the nose when you drink it. Exceptionally well done. Perfect body, zero astringency. Love love love!

Pours as a hefeweizen should, a cloudy darker straw color; vigorous carbonation that creates a quick rising white head, super fluffy spongy, leaves some nice initial lacing but not much after that.

Nose is all you'd want in a hefe; yeasty esters; this one is spice heavy; clove; and less banana/bubble gum, the aroma has a bread like characteristic to it like spiced banana bread, there is a little bit of yeastiness if you look for it; I would describe this nose as pleasantly aromatic, makes you want to keep smelling it.

The taste in this case confirms the nose; a spice leaning bread like hefeweizen with banana in the foreground; this beer leaves an amazing aftertaste, very pleasant.

Light body, very soft and on the palette, leaves a very low but noticeable residual sweetness on the tongue...this pairs very nicely with the flavor of this beer; an incredibly low bitterness, but it is there.

This is a top notch hefeweizen in my opinion...it is very balanced, the flavors are very good and it has a perfect mouthfeel for the style.

Canned 7/25 A light orange-amber pour, modest head, pleasant aroma of yeast and a touch of cloves. For a wheat beer, it's rather dry and very pleasant. Good body, great finish. A very refreshing chsnge from the regular hefeweizen. Must be a rotating offering, and we want to have this more often.

Very solid hefe. Cloudy unfiltered golden body. Good balance of bubble gum, banana and clove. Medium lighter biscuit and touch of caramel sweetness. Medium body, good carb, yeasty ester finish. Solid, though Weihenstephan is technically quite cheaper.

First things first, this can is Giants Orange and Raul is not feeling that. Anyway, who cares what she looks like if she tastes good. And…? It’s just ok. Nothing special, but not off-putting. Kind of like Barry Bonds after he retired - I hated him while in uniform, but he’s ok now.

Peace.

The body of IsarWeise is beautiful. Golden but copper tinted and just slightly chill hazed looking. Not your opaque "mit hefe" style, that's for sure. A thin and wispy white foam leaves behind a smooth creamy coverage and very minimal spotty lacing.

Very appropriate aromas of banana and clove hit first. A slightly rubber like scent hits next. Like a food grade rubber hose if that helps. Just a touch of hay and white pepper finish things off.

As expected, the flavor continues the theme. Banana and clove are both subdued. Slightly bubble gummy before a long lingering honey note. Again, a peppery and grassy finish.

The texture is not as overall rich as classic weisebiers, but it does have a slickness to it. As if there actually was some honey used. On the sweeter side that holds, and lightly carbonated, but still easy to drink.

A good weisebier. Im still not a huge fan of the style, but I can appreciate this. Love the name too. If you've ever seen my avatar, I think you could put two and two together.

Prost!

This one pours a slightly hazy light amber color, with a small white head, and a little bit of lacing.

There's some bready malt here, with banana, clove, and grassiness.

This is pretty solid, and a much maltier example of a hefeweizen that I'm used to, which is fun. It's bready and lightly sweet, hints of the typical banana/clove thing, and some light grassiness on the finish. It feels not quite as deft and tight as some of the best German examples, though.

This is medium bodied, and pretty creamy, with a good level of drinkability.

These guys are very impressive, even if only from the two beers I've tried.
