Can from Market of Choice, consumer side by side with the regular Pils, which is way better.
A clear straw yellow with a dense white head with good retention and lacing, this looks good. The nose is intriguing, a blend of really spicy and herbal hops, a blend of arugula and ramps, along with a mildly dusty, dirty, earthy aroma. Clean pils malt, though there's a touch of DMS present. The palate opens quite bitter and quite spicy with again, notes of arugula, fennel bulb and a little bit of ramps. The spicy bitterness is quite unique, though it is a little heavy handed, overshadowing the base malt and the raw, grainy depth. Drying, bitter, earthy and herbal on the finish, this beer is light in body and softly carbonated, lending a creamy mouthfeel. The spicy bitterness is not particularly tasty, but this is still quite refreshing. In some ways, it reminds me of the Foeder Ice with Perle from Modern Times, where the spice was just a little too strong for it's own good.

This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like spicy hops, minerals, sulfur, and crackery malt.
This is quite nice, with a very firm and spicy hop character. There's resin, lemon rind, grapefruit, minerally bitterness, and a touch of pleasant sulfur.
This is light bodied, and super crisp, with a great drinkability to it, and a smooth bite on the finish.
I could imagine being able to drink an unreasonable amount of this easily. This is really quite good.
