Look: Nearly clear straw yellow in color with a lively white head that balloons up and holds as a pillow before slowly receding, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Flowers, pilsner malt, straw, wafts of honey, and soda crackers
Taste: A little hit of pilsner malt hits first before a flood of floral goodness really gets it going – orange blossom, andromeda, and meadowsweet amongst them. Soda crackers and straw continue to weave in and out and closes with notes of honey and more flowers
Mouthfeel: Light but full, extremely crisp and clean throughout, medium-high carbonation, and crisp with a little dryness on the finish
Overall: This is delicious. I probably sound like a broken record but another winner from Lisa and staff here. Not only a tasty German Pilsner through and through but tons of floral notes stand out in this version and as a plant geek, I can dig that aspect as well. Also, it’s for a great cause and organization too with the Pink Boots Society so what’s not to love. Get you some

$3.79
Canned 04/09/2021
Nice looking beer in the pint mug, Nice rich golden colour with a lovely frothy/rocky off white head.
aroma on the sweet floral side of pilsner. But its really pleasant. Simple but nice.
Ahh that Heater Allen pilsner first taste that makes you go ahhhhh..great stuff. Refreshingly bitter but still balanced by a nice maltiness. Hop forward. German indeed.
Great mouth feel. Very well carbonated and never bores.
Hugely drinkable beer. Love it

Can dated 04/09/21 into a pilsner glass.

L: Pours straw yellow, with a hint of haze, with 2+ fingers of low-density frothy white head with great retention and left substantial variable lacing.

S: Snappy nose, lots of grassy elements followed by cereal grains, some lemon undertones.

T: Follows the nose well, but more lemon prominence. Finishes with moderate bitterness and mild acidity, bitterness lingers pleasantly.

F: Low-medium bodied with medium carbonation, subtly full on the tongue, crisp on the swallow.

O: Tasty pilsner, I dig the flavor and aroma profile for my palate and preferences.

Can from Uptown Market. Side by side with the Lady Behind the Glass.

A golden orange with a dense white head with excellent retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is firm, snappy, bitter and delightful, a blend of earth, lemon, mint and just such wonderful snap. Mild straw and pils malt character. The palate opens bitter and pungent, with a lot of preserved lemon, lime leaf, mint and earth, along with a classic old world woodsy note. This is followed by a blend of pils malt and more floral hops. Bitter, drying resiny and pungent on the finish, this is light in body, crisply carbonated and just awesome.

Comes in fairly well alongside the other single hop pils they do. Slight unfiltered haze, golden body, crisp biscuit, dab of honey, floral and a mild citrus bite with house yeast/mineral astringency. Medium body, good carb, balance and nice mild floral.
