Looking through one of my local beer stores( Bodega on Broadway ) saw this and i thought i dont think ive ever had a baltic porter. So if this is what baltic porters taste like im all in. i loved this beer, i tasted bitter chocolate, smoke, dark cherry.
had a good mouth feel, i now want to get more of this style

I can't improve or much need to change my review from 2024 (except it has shown up for two years in a row). I am giving it another quarter point for feel, however:
Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a dark mahogany brown with a fine, two finger dark khaki head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of biscuit and dry caramel malt, dates, raisins and a hint of dried cherry. Flavor is biscuit and dry caramel malt, dates, figs, dates and a little dried cherry. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Glad to see this again in the Seattle area; shows up every few years. Similar to past years with hints of cherry this year which a character of Baltic porter I like to see. Otherwise, this seems very much like previous years with a solid Baltic porter body with less bright fruit flavors, but plenty of dried fruit. Less optical density than a standard porter. A fine, drinkable annual treat with a new cheerful dog on the can each time.

Pint can, canned 11/13/25 - poured into a tulip glass,
Great looking pour with a fairly brief head.
Pleasant touch of complex 'tang' at first sip. Bitter-sweet roasted malt flavor. Hops keep sweetness fully in check.
I could enjoy this brew all winter .

“I hate sand. It gets everywhere…” And then in due time, Obi Wan damn mutilates that sissy Sith Lord. But it really isn’t about that. I mean, there’s a dog on the can, so I’m pretty sure Heater Allen is going for something more wholesome here. Comet the dog. Comet from Full House is Sandy Paws 2025. He rocks even if he doesn’t want to.
