Flagship never materializes as an IPA. It tastes like a customer accidentally dumped all the hops in the kettle at the beginning of the boil leaving nothing left later for aroma or flavor. (Given that Heads Up is a brew-on-premises and often serves half-batches of beers brewed by its customers, this scenario is a distinct possibility.) The result here is harsh bittering but no evolved hop flavor.
Even the body is visibly dilute. It is watery gold, equally thin in the mouth, and proffers no smell. There were otherwise no terminal brewing problems to speak of with Flagship. Just a recipe that simply fails to blossom. Boring.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
