1st review after moving to Arizona!
poured into a pilsner glass on a Sunday afternoon with homemade hamburgers:
A deep honey "hue" less than one finger of head
nice caramelly persistent head remnant...incredible, almost 100% lacing
S very Middle of the Roady, yet still clean and crisp and good
T not great but pretty decent....just a touch of hops
M crisp and clean
D guzzleton!

Small bottle poured into a goblet. This amber ale pours a bright crimson in the light with a touch of haze. A fairly light carbonation offers up a light surface cap throughout the glass.
Light caramel notes on the nose along with a kiss of hops. Taste follows; simple and straightforward while rather subdued at the same time. Hint of spice and bitterness on the finish along with some faint caramel sweetness. Feel is clean and not too viscous or cloying by any means, and in fact a tad thin for the style.
Overall an easy drinking and light bodied amber brewed under the Pacific Drift moniker. Surely contract brewed by Mission for Walmart or so it seems, though not my source. Better than stuff from Rochester, NY.

Bought at Walmart for 7.79 6pk bottles. poured into a pint glass and waited for it to warm a bit.
Finally a beer that reminds me of how craft beer in the 1990's tasted. Yes it's English in style.
Maybe a little to much hops on the nose. But overall good beer for the style. Furthermore I can't think of any brewery
doing this style anywhere that tastes like this.
Thank You

12 oz bottle in Oregon, July 2016 (from notes). No date.
Clear dark copper body topped with a very good light tan head. Good lacing.
Too much English (or similar) hops in the nose. These hops are clearly present in the flavor and, while diminished from the aroma, still dominate the malts.
Overall: off style a bit with generous earthy hops overwhelming the sweet malts.
