On tap at Mission brewery. An American Brown with toasted coconut. I'm told this isn't a special version of the brown, but rather they always use toasted coconut in their brown.
A: Very dark brown with a finger of dense beige foam.
S: Light coconut with nuts and bready malt. Smells quite nice with the coconut. I get a light caramel presence with accompanying chocolate.
T: Light notes of dark chocolate meld with earth, roasted malt, and a touch of nuttiness. I get a whisper of caramel as well. Coconut is but a suggestion in the flavor.
M: Medium body with lower medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is creamy and smooth.
Overall: A good brown with a toasted coconut flair.
