On tap at le Bieristan - Villeurbanne, France.
L - Amber with a good white head

S - caramel malt mostly

T - A bit like a doppelbock for the caramel malts and light hop presence but not flavourful

F - Overly carbonated

O - An okay beer, nothing bad but nothing very exciting either. The mouthfeel doesn't do it any favour though

I had this on tap at L'embobineuse in Marseile.

A: Reddish medium brown.

S: weak smell, slightly sweet and malty

A: Perfect blend of very subtle bitterness with a perfect amount of woody sweetness.

M: Very nice degree of carbonation.

D: An excellent amber. I can't think of a better one I've had. It tastes MUCH better on tap than in the bottle.

Beer bottle (33cl), tasted in the brewery (july 2008).
Full name of this beer "La Grihète songe-fête", with a beautiful label.

Appearance : amber color, with white foam head (not persistent).
Smell : fresh noze of grass-land aromas.
Taste and mouthfeel : fruity apple, quince, linden flavors.
Drinkability : a good beer in the "biere de garde" style (with low ABV, made with Irish yeast).
