Bottle courtesy of my friend DW - hauled it back from Europe!
Very dark, and even pours a dark tan head - quite large and creamy and lingering.
Has a creamy chocolate aroma, malty and rich.
Huge malt character up front, typical chocolate/coffee kinds of notes, slightly fruity and slightly sweet at times. Finishes fairly bitter. Hops were lurking but come out in the finish. Bitterness is a bit delayed and then lingers unpleasantly - oxidation?
MF - Fairly full bodied, with moderate carbonation. Overall quite creamy and pleasant on the tongue. Alcohol warmth if it is there at all is very subdued.
Assuming my bottle was a little aged, would be curious to try it fresh. Did like the idea of a dark malty British beer with enough hops to prevent it from being runaway sweet.

De Boxbeers. En copa Teku. Viendl Mr. Robot 1x09-10. Con queso de Para en Gines. Cuerpo aguado y perfil a regaliz, tostado intenso y algo de acidez. Sin ser del todo desagradable, no incita a seguir bebiendola

Bottle. Almost black with a tan head. Some lacing apparent.
Quite a rich aroma of dark fruit, treacle and molasses.
Taste as per smell. A bitter char flavour also emerges.
Robust and full bodied with a soft carbonation.
The best Harvey's brew I've had so far.

Bitter cocoa brightened by juicy forest fruits, before drying out into ashy, dry whisky, tobacco and leather. Perfectly arranged flavours, better than a complex arrangement.
