Brewery notes: Dunkles Bock, 7.5% ABV, 32 IBU. A dark, strong German-style lager that emphasizes its malt richness and toasty qualities
Plenty of malt that is toasty and slightly roasty. Slight flash of dark fruit and coffee near the start. Then turns somewhat bitter, slightly grainy and slightly earthy.
A Ok beer but not what I want in a bock. While I was at the tap room I tried there Doppelsticke Alt, which I thought was a better beer.
