Notes indicate a bock brewed with vanilla beans. Pours a clear brown with a small head. Limited nose of caramel and vanilla. Vanilla accompanies and otherwise pretty plain bock. That said, the flavor is intersting, like the little brother of a bourbon barrel aged imperial brown or something like that. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Really, this beer is about the vanilla, which is present in moderate quantities. Yes it's drinkable, but it's not special.
