On tap at Plauener Hütte (what a jewel). Decent pilsner, slightly dank, plenty of head.

The colour is yellow (7 EBC); the liquid clear. The high firm head (with a grand crater) is bright white and compact; it sinks very slowly leaving lots of thin lacing.
The smell is malty and sweet with a metallic bitterness, notes of fresh French loaf, fresh grass, and some margarine. It is overall quite clean.
The taste is bittersweet, dry and very flowery with some hints of butter. The crisp clean bitterness is medium to strong. There are notes of freshly baked bread rolls, too. The aftertaste got a mild sweetness, some fresh and dried flowers and more of those crisp bitter flavours. The finish is a bit buttery.
The carbonation is medium to strong; the bubbles are small and smooth. The liquid is semi-smooth.
Oh. Delicious. And how gulpable!
