Handpump at the King's Arms in Oxford.

A: Clear deep amber body topped by a thin ring of off-white head that leaves spotty lace. Not bad, but certainly nothing special.

S: Sweet - caramel and honey malt, as well as some orange marmalade. Pretty standard.

T: A little huskier and toastier than the nose, with the honeyed sweetness being held off until near the end. The finish is earthy and bittersweet. Mediocre.

M: Fairly light-bodied and only just barely carbonated. Too flat, even for cask.

O: I only bought this because of the name, and won't be having any more. Mundane Bitter.

Cheers!
