The beer pours a dark red/brown color with a thick frothy offwhite head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a nice malty scent that boasts of crystal and roasted malts. It is sweet with a toasted feel. The taste is good as well. It has a smooth malty flavor that goes down easy and finishes bitter. It has a roasted flavor with some residual malt sweetness. The mouthfeel is good. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a good red ale. It has good malt flavor. It's complex and easy drinking.

i luv stopping by this place after work usually every thursday to enjoy a few cold red beers. i luv the home made style tasting beers and this is by far the best red beer ive probably ever had. it by far blows killians out of the water. and its ironic that my dads mother's maiden name is killian!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
