Dark brown with a somewhat thin, foamy head that didn't last too long, but left a lace down the side of the glass. Aroma hinted of fruit and some coffee-like notes.

It took me three sips before I figured out that this was a spiced brew. Very subtly spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg, with those flavors appearing primarily in the finish. Somewhat thin mouthfeel at first that rounds out as the sip goes along. Flavors of dark fruit (figs, toffee?) to start out, then drying out to a more coffee-like finish. The hops (taste like PacNW) are there, but well restrained and in balance. Not at all sweet. The aftertaste is sort of like a spiced coffee - rather enjoyable. Worth trying while it's there, if you can get past the cask and nitro offerings.
