Similar color to the cask, but the hop aroma whaps you upside the head.
Tastes like it was dry hopped in the glass - not in the keg, the glass. Full of bright, grassy, leafy lupulin-y hoppiness, almost like picking a fresh hop cone and dipping it in an IPA. Almost enough toasty malt to balance the hop onslaught. Simply remarkable hop presence. Don't know how Goose did it, but I'm glad as hell he did. Nice underlying bitterness to balance as well. Not huge body, but not thin either. I like fresh hop flavor, but I don't know if I could have a ton of these.
Surprised the hell out of me.
Update, 3/05: Latest batch uses Centennial hops, with that same raw, aggressive hoppiness. Had to have two just to experience the hop attack again. The aromatics just assault the sinuses so impressively.
