The beer pours a dark gold/amber color with a 1/2" white head that fades to lacing. The aroma is great. It has a nice malty scent that boasts of pale and light crystal malts. It's slightly sweet with loads of hops. The taste is good. It has a semi-sweet malt flavor that blends well with hops. It's well balanced and easy drinking. It goes down smooth and finishes bitter. The mouthfeel is decent. It is a medium bodied beer with less than adequate carbonation. This is a good pale ale. It's full of flavor and excellent aroma; a fine sessions brew.

Appearance: slightly hazy amber in color with a spotty head. No lacing develops. The carbonation levels seemed low.
Smell: the aroma is of light caramel only.
Taste: the flavor is simple as caramel malt and some mild bitterness stick up front, and the light fruity tones are hidden.
Mouthfeel: this is a medium bodied beer, with a smooth mouthfeel . The finish is smooth with mild caramel tones lasting a brief second before leaving the tongue.
Drinkability: marks are down because this beer is just dull and uninspiring.
