MARCH 2026.
33cl can (€5 from the pub fridge).
This is a Kellerbier-style beer and is gluten-free (probably thanks to the special enzymes used to "eat up" the gluten post-production).
When poured, it is a slightly lighter golden color than I expected and presents a clean, slightly cloudy appearance (I would have expected it to be a little more cloudy). The head is fairly abundant, but not too "creamy" in consistency, a little bland.
On the palate, the beer is light-bodied and smooth, although a slightly more lively carbonation would have made it easier to drink and thirst-quench. The taste opens with malty notes reminiscent of bread-making, with a sweet, honeyed reflection and a cereal-like (crackers) finish that lingers on the tongue along with a barely perceptible bitterness from noble hops, drying out the sweeter malty notes.
A quick and smooth beer, a little lacking in liveliness: not unforgettable, with some flaws when compared to a German Kellerbier, but still pleasant in taste and smoothness.
