A crystal clear, very pale-straw/gold body rests beneath a short lid of bright white foam that fades to just a creamy collar and whispy surface covering but holds throughout the first half of the pint and leaves some minimal lace. The body is medium/light and it's gently crisp in the mouth. The nose is clean and expresses a sweetish and slightly grainy malt; and the same can be said for the flavor. It's balanced by a low-key bitterness that allows the grainy sweetness to dominate, but it finishes mostly dry and never builds on the palate. A well-brewed brewpub blonde.

The lightest of the Golden Avalanche line, the Blonde Lager poured a clear, gold color with noticeable bands of carbonation. A thin head was well-retained throughout and a little bit of lacing appeared after a few sips. The smell had a hint of malt, but was generally pretty weak...about average for this lighter style of pilsner / lager. The taste was also pretty consistent with a light pilsner...subdued maltiness with only a hint of hops at the end. Tastes much better than macro lights, and the freshness added a lot. Very crisp, and overall pretty refreshing. The mouthfeel was an expected carbonated-water feel, but fitting of the style. Light body, nice carbonation. The Blonde Lager is a good session drink, and is definitely a pick over the usual lighter beers. Not too shabby.

The beer pours a very pale gold color with a thick frothy white head that fades to lacing. The aroma is average. It has a crisp, pale malt aroma with a dry lager yeast scent. The taste is average as well. It has a grainy pale malt flavor which is weak, yet crisp. It goes down easy and finishes dry. The mouthfeel is decent. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a decent lager. There's really nothing special about it.

Served as a pale yellow colored beer with modest white puffy head. Smell is very light, with a bit of sweetness present. Taste is very dissapointing, being dominated by a very strong sweetness, almost as if sugar had been added to it. Finishes with more sweetness, which begins to be too overpowering. Not very drinkable for me. Way too sweet.

Amber hued pour with golden highlights. Extremely clear colored with scant bubbles and a slight white head cap.

I can only say that there are "Lager" scents like grains that were barely detectable, even thought the place was clean and empty.

Hops & lager malt balance with lemony leafy notes and grassy hops blend.

Lighter than local lager juggernaught Yuengling. This reminds me of a craft slash macro, but that is not to knock it. n enjoyable quaffable local lager.

Poured out as a really light yellow color. The head was thin and white but leaves a surprising amount of lacing on the glass. The smell of the beer as the typical lager aromas, with some grains in there too. The taste is refreshingly light and has a pretty decent sweetness and hoppiness to it. The mouthfeel of the beer was light and very easy to put down. Overall I found this to be quite enjoyable.

A very nice, crisp lager that is really more of a pilsner than a lager. The lightest beer on the board at the Kutztown Tavern, this one is a favorite with the Coors-tyoe drinkers as well as those who favor German pilseners...not too bad. Prost!
