A - Served with an amber body that showcased a big white head...the head made its way to becoming a thin cap and left some good lacing behind
S - The Belgian side (spices and yeast) of this beer takes full control even though they say it's hopped several times...those European hops, however, do provide some spice and earthiness themselves
T - Again, the Belgian side pokes its head through first...some of those Belgian related spices (clove, pepper) are very present but they do subside quickly...the Amber part of the beer comes forward and mellows things out with a malty side...some sweet caramel provides that mellowing factor...the hops, again, are subdued but they bring an earthiness to finish of the beer
M - Medium bodied...a let down here as nothing really lingers with you, it just falls off
O - I wanted to like this one as it was to be a kind of hoppy Belgian, but it fell short...I like GABCOs approach to the Belgian style beers...they should keep doing it, but I'm looking for some more flavor or balance

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
