Session IPA was born from the desire to brew a beer that is light, original, and intensely aromatic.
To achieve this delicate balance, our brewmaster combined Citra, an American hop, with Combawa, an Indonesian citrus fruit, along with a selection of roasted malts. The result is a golden blonde beer with a fine, delicate head. Fresh aromas of citrus and tropical fruits emerge, culminating in a malty finish.

Copenhagen 4/3 2018. 75 cl bottle from Den Gamle Købmand, Skt. Ammæ Plads, Kbh. K. Very exotic looking label with silhouette of palms against a setting sun.
Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a very big white head. Kind of bubbly. Settles as a thin foamy layer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma reminds me more of an Saison than a IPA. Sour citric intensity, soap, light sugary notes, resin and a bit more citrus.
Light carbonation and thin, watery texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by stronger sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sour. Finish is semi-dry.
This has not much to do with a IPA even though they say "Session IPA" on the label. But a quite decent Biere de Garde.
