This beer is likely not retired, or I doubt I would be holding this bottle in my hand.
It doesn't look bad, a cleanly filtered bright, clear golden color with a head that, while falling off and producing spritz and fizzy bubbles, creates them fairly consistently. It doesn't produce a great head, but it maintains something pretty decent.
The wheat is in the aroma with some grass and herb going a little (but not very) skunky. There's a light hint of dank and some wet hay in there as well.
The taste is a little disappointing, quite lackluster overall. It seems a little watered down, which I understand is the temptation of some to reach out to the masses, but it makes this one a little flat as far as taste. It just ends of kind of grainy with a spent / sour note at the end and some of that dankness from the nose.
The feel is bright and crisp, definitely good for the style and this beer's best aspect. It keeps it lively without being over-carbonated and has just the right bite in its appropriately light body. It's also quite clean, considering.

Very good beer. I didn't know what a bright ale was, so i didn't go into this beer looking for a particular style or flavor. I figured it was a hopped up golden ale or something. Pours clear and golden, with a moderate white head. Frothy. Aroma is slightly hoppy and light. Flavor is crisp and mildly hoppy. Very light body. Slight maltiness, but mostly a light style with mild flavor. Lively carbonation. Tasted awesome on the beach in late June. I'm going to go with a blond ale for the style.
