New offering from Davidson. The "MCB" stands for Morning Club Brew, whereby, according to our biertender, a local radio station won some sort of wager and got to brew their own recipe here. This one was started last September, according to their bier-board in the pub. And, yes, it was poured nitro-style! It was a rich golden color, a tad hazy, and with a creamy, whipped-cream white topping. Head lasts all night, and leaves A-1 lace. The bier cascaded upward in the glass Guinness-style. Looked great! Nose was malty, sweet and candi-sugar like. Body was more than medium, and it was velvety slick on the tongue! Flavor was light malty, with yeasty notes present and adding a bit of sharpness. Candi-sugar was a bit more pronounced, contributing a nice sweetness. Quite pleasurable!
