I got a real problem with this one. It is not what I thought it would be...
Purchased a 6er of cans right at the brewery. I believe the stamp says 6/24/2020, it is difficult to make out.
The brewery describes like this:
"Lemon cream ale made with real lemon zest and juice. Bright citrus aroma with a refreshing finish."
The can label and the description suggest a distinctive lemon flavor but I did not taste any.
Poured in a teku glass it shows off a nice yellow with a bright white head that disappears quite quickly, even though it good carbonation. Smell is next to nothing. Tastes very flat, no lemon taste at all.
A real disappointment, must be a bad batch. All the other beers I had at this brewery were good. This one is a mystery to me. Can has ABV 3.8% printed on it, the website says it is 4.5%
