A beer made with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme...WTF!? I had my doubts but had to try it.
A-Copper body with a thin white head that sticks around and leaves spotty lace.
S-Herbal aroma (duh!) that had the wafting aroma of a pizza pulled out of the oven!
T-Doesn't taste like a pizza or a herbed mess either! The spices really worked well together and meld to create a rather sharp spiciness. I don't think this brew is hopped at all so the herbs step in to take their place. A bit of malty sweetness in the end.
M-Medium-light body with nice lingering spicy bitterness and a dry finish.
D-A lot better than I thought it would be! It really works, a most impressive concoction. Crisp and refreshing with a nice drying finish....a great beer to accompany a cheese plate!
