Poured from tap into pint glass
Black cherry in color with short, half-inch head of foam
Aroma-Toasted malts and milk chocolate
Taste-Coffee with chocolate notes and faint raspberry in the finish. A bit thin and seemingly overcarbonated. Definite smokiness emerges upon warming. Not too bad overall, could have used a bit more substance.

On tap into a pint glass.
Brown with a reddish hue, half inch frothy head and ample lacing.
Smells of black patent malts and cocoa cream with rasberries. Interresting and inviting.
Taste of a classic american porter toffee, coffee a slight chocolate. This porter has local rasberries incorparated into the brew. The rasberry flavor really comes out as the brew warms up a bit. Very tasty however a bit over carbonated and thin in the mouth. I believe this is a "young" batch. Would consider this a good one to cask condition and place on the hand pull tap in the future.
