got this at the brewery on 8/23/10
*cask conditioned*
A- poured a cloudy orangish amber color. not to much of a head being cask conditioned and all. little lacing. you can see some simcoe sediment floating around.
S- all that i could pull out of the malt side was a sweet light caramely scent. maybe a little bit of honey??? but the beer is mostly blasted by piney and some slight citrusy hop scent.
T- just how it smells. amazing.
M- very light bodied. carbonation is amazing. you can really drink this stuff and not get burpy.
D- i wish i was drinking it right now.
Overall- i never had an american ipa that was so light bodied. i thought i wouldn't like it but the taste and drinkability just makes this brew a gem. it's like water for hopheads.
