Undated 12 oz can purchased child at the brewery's taproom in Traverse City about 2 weeks ago.
Poured with an oversized, foamy white head.
This has the hazy look and juicy mouthfeel of a "juicy pale ale" but not the flavor or aroma. Instead the flavor is markedly herbal while the aroma is dank and herbal and seemed ominous before tasting. There are subtle fruity notes in both but not at all what one should expect given the description. Bitterness is a bit above average for the style.
