Pint glass

Served with a finger of white head. Color is a hazed golden yellow.

Aroma: A lot like the raspberry version, minus the raspberries. Wheat and fruity esters, a bit of spice. Fairly simple.

Taste: Wheat, fruit pebbles, and a plastic bland taste. Some spice as well. Has some bready malts.

Mouthfeel: Follows the raspberry version as well. Crisp and bland. Lighter bodied. Medium to high carbonation. Ends very dry.

Overall, nothing overly enjoyable. Basically take the raspberry version and take out the raspberries and you have this beer.

A-Nice light golden color...a lot of carbonation bubbles...fizzy white head of about an 1/8 of an inch.

S-Sweet and malty....doughy, bready and yeasty....some vanilla esters...Diacetyl may be present as this has some butterscotch notes.

T-Yeasty and doughy...sweet and malty...fresh baked bread and vanilla characteristics are strong...Diacetyl may be present as this has some butterscotch notes on the taste too

M-On the light side of medium bodied...medium carbonation...smooth drinking...no bitterness

D-I like this brew. I'm not sure it should have the butterscotch/vanilla notes but I actually like that in a golden ale. Perhaps not "spot-on" for the style but with a golden ale who cares? It is open to interpretation as far as I'm concerned and I think this will be a popular cross over beer for the macro drinker. One of my favorite golden ales along with Town Hall and Hereford and Hops in Wausau.
