Pours a light white head. Color is a clear golden orange.

Aroma: Spices, cloves, bananas, yeast, some fruits, some malts. Nice flavors.

Taste: Cloves, coriander, bubblegum, bananas, yeast, bready malts and some spice. I like it.

Mouthfeel; Dry, smooth, and creamy. Medium bodied with a low to medium amount of carbonation. Ends dry with some spice and bubblegum flavors.

Overall, a nice tripple. Not overly dry, but it had some solid flavors. I really enjoyed the bubblegum flavors. Decent drinkability as well.

Had this growler for 2 weeks now and it still pours out a nice little white froth cap. The edging that is left after the head recedes lays down decent amounts of lace. Body is a bright golden. The aroma here is pretty bright. I really like the big whiffs of doughy yeastiness. That's one think I like about smelling Tripels and this one has got it down. Also a little peachy fruitiness. A little spiciness. Great nose. The flavor doesn't disappoint either. Nice doughy malt center. Like sweet cookie dough flesh. Subtle pepper spiciness accents adequately. Yeasty esters add more complexity. Drinkability is outstanding as there really is no sign of alcohol and the carbonation is perfect for the style. This is a well done tripel. One I'm glad I have a growler of. Thanks go out to the Badass Lumberjack from up north for this one. I think Jackyl's song was about none other than ZAP himself.

A quality effort on this one. This is a well made tripel. It is very rich and sweet, with some outstanding fruitiness and spiciness.

Aroma is big on the bubble gum, banana, and honey notes...but there are also citrus like fruit notes and some mild spicyness. Really smells the part.

Taste is sweet but never cloying. A honey like sweetness is upfront but the bubblegum notes and banana notes are also evident. Also the citrus like fruitiness emerges a little stronger on the taste than it did on the aroma...it is still a small player in the flavor but it is there...

This is out of a growler more than a week old and the carbonation is still about right...finishes dry....this is a high abv beer but it does not taste alcoholic. Sure it feels big and rich but the booze is hidden..

I'm impressed with this...well done....compares favorable to the tripels I've had from Fitger's and Town Hall which I consider the benchmarks for the state....

All the scores hover between 4.5 and 4.0 and in my opinion this is about a 4.25 overall....
