16 oz can exp dated 5/23, so pretty fresh. From 12 oz glass. Nice medium body with the right amount of sweetness. well balanced and refreshing taste. Nice balance of maltiness and hops. Head was short lived, but that didn't bother me. Xmas gift pack, will try to find it again.

Pours a cloudy straw color with a medium top of white head that dissolves slowly.
Aroma is of some biscuity malts, grass, grains , some lemon and some floral and earthy hops.
The taste is dry and grassy with some slightly citric notes allong with some bready malt notes in the back. The finish is slightly bitter with grassy and herbal hop notes.
Crisp and clean mouthfeel with a medium carbonation and a medium body.
Quite a nice and decent example of a zwickl.
Refreshing and easy drinking.

Copper colored with a light sedimentary haze. There’s a fingernail of beige on top. The aroma is of dark bread and caramel. I’m tasting lightly sweet bready malt. The mouth is very light, unobtrusive, and easygoing.

Pours a light orange with a bit of haziness and light bubbling/minimal head. The smell got me excited- malt forward with lemon mixed in and a bit of sweetness reminiscent of stone fruit- apricot maybe? The taste is a little bit of a letdown- everything from the nose, but much less vibrant; it comes across as weak or soft, although there's some nice funkiness and slight bitterness in the finish which helps. The feel was decent, a blend of chewiness and dry refreshment.

I'm glad I tried it but on to the next zwickl- I haven't made up my mind if they are a go-to style for me.

16oz can into a pint glass. Best by May 2023, which seems a bit excessive. Part of a Christmas 12 pack release, so pretty fresh.

Looks pretty good in the glass. Slightly hazy golden yellow body. Small white head doesnt retain mauch, no lacing.

Slightly floral aroma.

On tasting, a little sweet. Very faint bitterness, and a little drying.

Mouth medium, finish a sweet, bitter, dry progression.

Overall, decent enough beer. Nothing outstanding, but no major faults either.

Cloudy golden body, plump eggshell white head and lacing a plenty. Aromas of flowers and pale german yeast give way to include lemon and grass. Taste the lemon actually leads with floral tones, german yeast rounds out. Feel is the weak point, way to malty as the botanical textures are so faint, pale and lighter weighted in general

Look - 6th beer of the 2021 Costco Advent Calendar. Poured into a tulip glass. Lemon yellow in color, slightly cloudy, and big frothy three finger+ head with excellent lacing retention.

Smell - light grassy and biscuit notes. some citrus and fresh fruit scents along with some caramel sugary notes.

Taste - unfortunately, much of the complexity and nuances detected in the smell does not translate into the taste. the beer itself is creamy and has some body, but flavor wise, there's not much aside from light roasted malts. a very slight hint of bitterness towards the end with a clean finish.

Feel - light bodied, but approaches medium. high carbonation, and standard in ABV for the style at 5%.

Overall - the beer is impressive on the look and smell, but falls a bit short on taste. it's a clean and easy drinking brew with a bit more body than the average lager.

I can't say what it is exactly, but there is something about this beer that is a bit off to me. Still a good effort and drinkable though. Prost!
