Pours amber with a ridiculous head. Impossible to pour. Expect to wait a good 5-10 minutes before being able to pour the whole bottle.
Nose shows apricots, orange blossom, peach and resinous hops with sweet nutty and caramel malt underneath. Very nice!
Similar malt profile in the way of flavours, loads of nutty malt. Fruity hops also transfer through. Finishes with a bold, sharp clean bitterness.
Carbonation is way too high!!!! Really stupidly high.
If this wasn't so massively over-carbed it'd be a bloody impressive beer.

This pours a murky orange/tan colour with a completely out of control head. It was about a 10 stage pour to get the stubby in the glass and I was very gentle.
At first whiff it is all resinous hops but after a bit a solid bit of malt comes trough as well to add some balance.
Malt definitely comes through a lot more assertively on the palate.
Medium bodied.
I need to keep reminding myself that this is a British style IPA. I think it's good for style.

Moderate spicy, slightly citric hop aroma. Caramelly malt.
Good, clear golden colour with a fluffy, off-white head. Okay head retention.
Sweet, smooth malt backed up by moderate bitterness (53 IBUs I'm told). The hop character is floral and spicy. This is tasty. There's a tiny bit of yeast autolysis in the background which doesn't help it.
Medium body with moderately-high carbonation. Good. Nice and crisp.
A decent IPA and certainly better than the standard IPA.
