On tap at Monks House of Ale Repute.
This was a good APA. I thought it was a bit more hoppy than what a traditional APA should be like. More into American IPA territory on this one. That seems to be the trend especially on the West coast.

Poured into a Gandy Dancer tulip.
Beer is a lovely reddish-amber color with a thin head that leaves some light lacing on the glass.
The aroma is slightly citrus as well as some notes of belgian yeast.
Right up front, I get the slight funk and bready note from (I'm assuming) Belgian yeast. there are also some nice citrus hop notes and a little sweetness from the malt as well. An interesting flavor profile.
The mouthfeel is fairly thin but appropriate for a pale ale.
Overall, a decent and different take on a pale ale. Rather enjoyed it.
