Gandy Dancer Monk's 9th Anniversary Stout, 10% ABV. Pours thin and black, no head on a careful taproom pour. Nose is coffee and some cocoa. Taste is coffee, with strong bitterness. Mouthfeel was OK. Overall OK. I did not really enjoy this as it was far too bitter for my taste. Bitterness overpowered the coconut, vanilla, or hazelnut that it was supposed to have. Gandy Dancer is the brewery part of Monk's taproom. This beer was just released about 4 hours ago.
