Rooty brown-black, thin beige head
Very little aroma, some slight citrus and molasses
Flavor is earthy and esoteric with grapefruit bitterness, slight herbal skunk, molasses, and a nip of dark burnt malt. Although that sounds complex, the flavor comes across fairly simple.
Feel is moderate to high carbonation which helps, a little stickiness, lots of resins.
Overall not a bad black IPA.
