A 500ml clear glass bottle with a BB of Oct 2018. Purchased a while back from B&M. The label calls it an immpecable IPA but otherwise doesn't give much away.

A: Poured into a straight pint glass. A crystal-clear amber colour with moderate carbonation. Forms a decent head of creamy white foam that lasts for a moment before collapsing to a patchy surface layer. Slight lacing.

S: Aroma of fruity ale yeast with hints of stewed leaves, overdone veg, corn and subtle grainy malt. A solventy twang lurks in the background. Not great at all.

T: Tastes of fruity ale yeast with notes of stewed leaves, hay, overcooked veggies, a hint of sweetcorn, mild grainy malt and a touch of harsh cardboard in the background. Also a whisper of solvent. Slightly sweet, followed by a moderate vegetal bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and a reasonable body that is somewhat thin for the strength. Mildly astringent and slightly oily on the palate. Aftertaste of stewed leaves, hay, overdone veg, cardboard, ale yeast and subtle grainy malt.

O: Naff. Not very nice and doesn't meet expectations for the style. Average looks, while the aroma and flavour are unpleasantly flawed and lacking in hop character. So-so body; strangely oily. Harsh and horrible - not a recommended drinking experience.

Bottled, possibly brewed in conjunction with Greene King but definitely and unfortunately housed in a clear glass bottle
Because of that the majority of the aroma is skunk, ethanol & vanilla flavouring
So pours a crystal clear amber body with absolute minimal white head
There is a little grape hop, quite sweet and very little bitter
Odd & wrong
