Copenhagen 11/5 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta, Frederiksborgvej, Kbh. NV. Black version of the usual Ærø brand design.
Pours almost pitch black with a small creamy off-white head. A bit bubbly. Subsides to thin lacing fairly fast. Moderate lacing.
Distinct aroma of coffee - with only a modest sweet odor. A little caramel and toffee.
Soft carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is of coffee with a good bitterness which is lingering in the aftertaste. Finish is dry.
On the back of the bottle they call it a "dry stout" which seems to fit the bill pretty good.
