I was surprised to find this beer to be more than expected from a little brewery situated on tiny Island of the Iles of Denmark. I'm used to be presented to nice beers made by Danish Breweries, but this beer is a joy to me. I'm a pro Hobs enthusiast, so in that perspective, it is a mild sample of the family, but still interesting enough. Cheers.

IPA? No.... Complete absence of hop character. Too weak, no aroma, taste has been forgotten somehow. Could easily pass for a cheap lager if served warm.
It's not often I'm so disappointed by a beer!
Honestly this use of the name IPA has to stop, perhaps it's time for protected status for British beers of the proper type...

50 cl bottle with a freshness date of 4 Aug 2011. Poured into an imperial pint glass. The beer comes out a fairly light yellow-gold and is relatively clear. Only a moderate head which quickly fizzed away.

This IPA smelled well...unremarkable. Kind of a grassy, mildly hopped aroma that really does not distinguish itself.

The taste was about the mildest IPA I have ever had. I would never have called it an IPA based strictly on taste. More like an English Pale Ale. Has more of the classic hard-water taste of an English PA with a mildly hopped finish at the end. There are some background hints of fruits (apple or pear?) and toffee.

Mouthfeel is pretty average. Nicely carbonated. Overall pleasant.

My overall assessment of this "IPA" is that it is a pleasant beer that is somewhat under delivers. Perhaps it is the label, marking it as an IPA, yet not delivering the hops I was craving. Again, this beer is more in line with an English Pale Ale.
