This was poured into an English pint glass. The appearance was a pure jet black color with a thin white to off white foamy little head. Lacing slides and just runs right into the beer. The aroma starts off with some big roasty to robust coffee and cocoa bean tones. Sweet red cherry qualities slide in for a sly underneath. The flavor leads semi-sweet combination of the cherries to the cocoa bean with a nice roasty underneath. Sly bitterness of the coffee bean. Semi-sticky cocoa bean roast with the black cherries in the aftertaste and the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a decent sessionable to sipping quality about it. Almost feels stout-like due to the weight on my tongue. Overall, really awesome for what it is and to me, but true Baltic Porter fans may be a bit disappointed with the fact that this one sits a bit heavier than expected. Still, I’d definitely have again for me.

Aroma is chocolate, cherries/fruit and dark malts. The flavor is chocolate/dark chocolate, cherries, fruit, dark malts and an acidic/very slightly dry finish.

What I liked was the cherry was subdued but, on the other hand, the Baltic porter was nothing special. Body was a tad thin and boozy. Bit metallic in the finish otherwise good drinking.

Pours dark brown, almost no head.
Aroma of bready, toasty and chocolate-like malt.
Dry roasty flavours, although there is some sweet bready malt. Loads of cocoa and some soft espresso. Not much cherry at all.

Pours a dark brown color with red hues. Aroma is malty, with hints of roast and fruit. Roasted, light meaty elements, and some cherry. Stout notes of chocolate and roasted malt blend more with cherry as it warms. Bordering on smoky but never quite reaching it. Light to medium bodied a bit light for style, otherwise solid. Interesting beer here, and not bad.

Pours a dark kola hue with a wispy one finger and some leggy lacing, the smell is very captivating for me it's a beautiful mix of milky chocolate malts, sour cherries,a slight hint of vinegar and dark fruits and I know it sounds like an odd combination of aromas but it really is enticing, the mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation and the taste is what I was hoping for a tasty blend of milky chocolate and sour tart cherries and overall when I first saw the label I had differing thoughts on whether this would work for me as im not the biggest fan of brews with cherries but oh my I found a new favourite in this drop and yes I'll be buying this again on my next visit to the bottleshop.
