A: The beer is crystal clear dark yellow in color and has some orange hues along with a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a dense beige head that this excellent retention properties and hardly died down.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries and herbal hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of basil, gooseberries and herbal hops along with a light to moderate amount of bitterness. The gooseberries linger into the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is quite well hopped. I thought that the herbal flavors of basil were rather unique.

Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a golden/orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of malts, some dankness. Taste is malts, herbal, light mints, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall ain't bad, but drinks much more like an English IPA than an American one.

Happy to write First prose review of Boonies IPA
a) Dark amber hazed body sprouts a thin 1 finger head w scant lace. Cider like.
s) Low energy nose, leaning toward NE or EIPA, malt, smoked fruit, dried dark fruit.
t) Perfectly fine, good food match, malt dominant IPA.
f) Mid body, lower carbonation, clean dry finish.
o) A mid-pack IPA too ordinary to pay to ship around the world, but worth a try.
