I remember drinking this at Outback Steakhouse decades ago.

I found this jem on a 110+ degree day in Phoenix and thought to myself "Arizona and Australia have similer climates" so I picked up a couple bottles. As it turns out, this is a stout you can drink on the hottest of days and it goes down nice and easy, unlike some other stouts. Sadly I can no longer find it in the store.

Pours a pitch black with a substantial medium brown head.

Lots of deep roasted malts. Classic stout profile. Quite nice.

Roasted malt dominates, but a soft creaminess shows up. Soft, mild finish. Slightly acidic. Some smokiness.

Very flavorful, but suprisingly, very light. Creamy mid-palate with a dry, clean finish.

A very drinkable stout. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Worth a try if you run across it.

The beer poured pitch black with just ever so slight ruby highlights. The head was brown and lasts to lace the glass...scratch that, coat the glass...

The aroma was coffee, caramel, toffee and chocolate.

The flavor was coffee, caramel and chocolate. There was a slight sourness in the flavor, but it was not unpleasant.

The finish was off dry coffee. The body was medium, but the mouthfeel was creamy.

25 ounce bottle twist top. Very easy drinking stout which is good since it was a 25 ounce bottle.

Dark Black color, small tan head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee. Medium bodied stout.Toasted malts, kind of hoppy. Full flavored. Full round mouthfeel. Dry finish. Interesting stout, not typical but very nice. Finish is dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Poured a medium tan head that was quick to dissolve. The lacing was fair on the sides of my mug. The body was black and it was on the thin and watery side for a stout. It had a smooth coffee taste to it. It lacks character and it was not one of the better stouts that I have drank.

This brew poured a medium head of fine to medium sized brown bubbles and a opaque black body. It has a strong malt and alcohol aroma with a mild chocolate and very mild coffee flavor. It is smooth initially then a slight bitterness lingers into the aftertaste. An average stout in my book which is not marked by the strong coffee flavor of most stouts.
